David Williamson Theatre
The David Williamson Theatre, located at our Prahran Campus, is a popular choice for events and productions in Melbourne’s South-East.
The space can be booked by students and the general public. The theatre can be used as an ideal venue for:
- Dance and movement schools and companies
- Theatre groups for productions and rehearsals
- Secondary school drama students
- Live music and comedy shows
- Presentations, public speaking events and conferences
- School music examinations
Fully-equipped spaces for your performance
The David Williamson Theatre includes a foyer area and two theatres. Our foyer is a lovely spot for pre-show drinks and finger food. It can be hired for this purpose with catering packages, including a fully serviceable bar. Theatre One and Theatre Two can be hired separately. Theatre One has a seating capacity of 119, disability access, professional lighting and audio equipment and technical assistance. Theatre Two is ideal as a rehearsal space, with a seating capacity of 108. Please note that Theatre Two does not have disability access.
