Melbourne Polytechnic ranked 11 out of more than 600 colleges assessed in the 2024 Asia-Pacific Vocational School Influence Index Star School.
Announced at the 2024 High Quality Development of Vocational Education Symposium held in Henan, China, the index evaluates and ranks vocational institutes in the Asia-Pacific region, providing the institutes with a star rating out of 5.
Melbourne Polytechnic is 1 of only 19 vocational institutes to receive a 5-star rating and the only Australian TAFE to be featured in the top 50.
The index rating is based on internet and big data analysis to assess the influence of organisations, with regards to promoting quality vocational education.
