Esha Thukral is a Lecturer in Business at Melbourne Polytechnic, where she brings her extensive background in human resource management and business studies to undergraduate students. Before transitioning to academia, Esha accumulated significant experience as an HR professional in India.
Esha holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. She furthered her education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Environment Management and Law from the National Law University, New Delhi, in collaboration with World Wildlife Fund, India. Her academic journey continued in Australia, where she earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from La Trobe University in 2015.
Her exposure to multicultural work environments sparked a keen research interest in global business operations and the ecosystems that influence them. Esha has contributed to the academic field through several book chapters and journal articles, focusing on topics like ‘Innovation in ASEAN,’ ‘Brazilian Entrepreneurship,’ and ‘Singapore’s March Towards Innovation.’ Her paper, “COVID-19: Small and Medium Enterprises Challenges and Responses with Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship,” was notably recognized as a top-cited paper in Strategic Change during 2021-2022.
