Fiona is a musician and teacher in the VET music programs at Melbourne Polytechnic. She is currently teaching in the Advanced Diploma of Music (Performance), the Diploma of Music, and the Certificate IV in Music (Sound Production).
Fiona's principal instrument is piano and she has had years of experience performing in pubs, clubs, and hotels and at corporate events in and around Melbourne and along the east coast of Australia.
Fiona has been teaching music since 1987. Over the years, Fiona’s passion for education has seen her in many roles, including eLearning support, instructional design and development, VET music teacher and higher education lecturer.
Her qualifications include a Master of Professional Education and Training (in Flexible, Online and Distance Education), a Bachelor of Education in Music and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
