Tali Bernard has over 20 years’ experience as a Board Director. In addition to being a Director of Melbourne Polytechnic, she is currently serving as a Board Director and Deputy Chair of the Workplace Injury Commission.
Ms Bernard was a Board Director and Board Secretary of the Women’s Legal Service, and the Family Law Legal Service and a School Council member and Deputy Chair of Clifton Hill Primary School.
Tali practised as a lawyer for 18 years in the areas of family law and personal injury litigation. She is committed to improving access to justice and access to education for all Victorians. She is nationally accredited mediator who is passionate about alternative dispute resolution.
Ms Bernard has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts and has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. In addition, she is a former student of Melbourne Polytechnic and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Tali has been a Melbourne Polytechnic Board member since July 2018.
