Short Course

Overview

Only suitable for: People with learning needs/disabilities

Students will explore different aspects of cafe culture and the hospitality industry. Students will practice making coffee, tea and other beverages.

Cafe Culture course is a 4 day holiday program

Topics Covered

  • What is Café Culture?
  • Exploring Cafés
  • What are the ingredients of a successful café?
  • Learn the art of coffee making
  • Learn how to make tea and cold beverages
  • Cooking simple cafe meals

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will have gained skills and knowledge from visiting cafés and coffee shops whilst learning the art of making coffee, beverages, simple meals and the ingredients to a successful cafe.

A Certificate of Participation will be issued after the course.

Transfers and Refunds

A refund or transfer is only possible if you apply at least 5 business days prior to the course commencing. A standard handling charge of 10% of the advertised course fee will be deducted from each refund. Requests for refunds or transfers made within five business days of the course start date will not be eligible.
