Overview
Only suitable for people with learning needs/disabilities.
Students will learn how to stock a pantry with cooking essentials and prepare simple nutritious meals on a budget. Students will also develop awareness of food hygiene and safety practices in a commercial kitchen.

- Basic food preparation using simple recipes

- Clean and maintain utensils and equipment
- Career pathways in the hospitality Industry
Course Outcomes
- Students will increase their confidence and independent skills in how to prepare meals and apply these skills in their everyday life
- Students will learn how to prepare meals and stock up their pantry with cooking essentials
- A Certificate of Participation will be issued after the course
Transfers and Refunds
A refund or transfer is only possible if you apply at least 5 business days prior to the course commencing. A standard handling charge of 10% of the advertised course fee will be deducted from each refund. Requests for refunds or transfers made within five business days of the course start date will not be eligible.
