Short Course

Overview

The Life Skills Cooking short course is only suitable for people with learning needs/disabilities.

In this course, students will learn basic everyday cooking skills.

Life Skills Cooking is a 4 day holiday program

Topics covered

  • Nutrition
  • Core ingredients for everyday cooking
  • Reading recipes
  • Cooking simple meals

Course Outcomes

  • Participants will have gained the skills and knowledge on how to stock a pantry with cooking essentials, read recipes and prepare simple meals whilst keeping in mind the nutrition
  • A Certificate of Participation will be issued after the course

Transfers and Refunds

A refund or transfer is only possible if you apply at least 5 business days prior to the course commencing. A standard handling charge of 10% of the advertised course fee will be deducted from each refund. Requests for refunds or transfers made within five business days of the course start date will not be eligible.
