Photographic Studio

As a Visual Arts student at Melbourne Polytechnic, you’ll develop your photography skills on professional equipment in a fully equipped studio under the guidance of passionate and experienced teachers. 

Our photography studio will help build your confidence as an artist or Screen and Media professional by training you on the latest, industry-standard equipment. 

Start your career with experience working with professional-standard studio equipment, from full photography cycloramas to industry-standard cameras and lenses. Melbourne Polytechnic students can also hire our photographic studios when not in use. 

You’ll have access to a full range of facilities and equipment including:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud software
  • Profoto lighting systems
  • Professional Canon and Nikon camera bodies and lenses
  • 27” Eizo monitors
  • The latest model Mac Pro computers
  • Fine Art A2 printing Epson Ultrachrome printing

  • Cyanotype alternative print process equipment and chemicals
  • Van Dyke Brown alternative print process equipment and chemicals
