The Melbourne Polytechnic team were thrilled and honoured to attend the prestigious 2023 NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) Education & Careers Annual Awards night on Friday 24 March. The event recognised and acknowledged the success, commitment, and determination of students in various fields.
As a preferred delivery partner for NECA's traineeship program in Victoria, Melbourne Polytechnic takes pride in the achievements of its students. Several students from the institution were nominated for awards, and we would like to extend our heartfelt Congratulations to the following winners:
1. Damien Pace - Trainee of the Year
2. Alexandra Wardell - Trainee of the Year
3. Anthony Elice - Inspirational Trainee of the Year, with an honourable mention for Jordyn Brash
The awards ceremony was held against the stunning backdrop of the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The evening was filled with entertainment, networking opportunities with partners, colleagues, and host organisations, making it a memorable night for all attendees, especially the students who took home an award or received an honourable mention, as well as the NECA staff and invited guests.
We would like to express our gratitude to NECA for the opportunity to partner with them in delivering the Certificate III and IV in Business traineeship program in Victoria. It is a privilege to contribute to the success and recognition of our students through this collaboration and we look forward too many more successes in the future.
